An innovative show Freedom in Blood commemorates the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining independence. The show was staged live in Piłsudskiego square in Warsaw and combines theatre, film and music. The show was complemented by modern songs, the lyrics of which gained a whole new meaning thanks to being transferred to historical contexts. The plot of Freedom in Blood focuses on the life of a common Polish family in the years 1918–2018. Successive generations of the Polescy fight for freedom of their country and go through personal successes and failures.
